James Bond 007 - (GTA 5 Machinima)

MATURE AUDIENCES, VIOLENCE THROUGHOUT

MI6 send in legendary Agent 007, AKA James Bond, to infiltrate a Terrorist Arms Bazaar taking place in the Pamir Mountains of Tajikistan. Join 007 on this action packed machinima paying homage to the classic Bond Movies! As he battles enemies such as SPECTRE, the sub zero temperatures.

Happy New Year to you all! This has been the result of nearly 2 months of work (Nov 30th). Ever since I got into GTA 5 Machinima making, I wanted to make a James Bond piece. But felt I lacked the technical skills to do it back in 2016. (As you can tell by how garbage my videos are back then ! ) I felt I was finally ready and was initially hoping to get this out the door before 2020 ended but here we are in 2021!

This was a tough one to make. I apologise first to any Russian viewers who might be totally confused at times with what the troops are saying. I don't speak Russian nor have a translator so I'm sure they are saying totally odd things at times. I'd say this was even tougher than Screaming Horde. The entire cast and extras consisted of custom MP characters and the huge Bazaar set which took 6 hours over 2 days to construct at Fort Zancudo. The filming was tough at times, especially for the chase sequence at the end, (I won't mention how many times the helicopter crashed prematurely) Anyway. It was a huge project and I'm really happy to present it now to you all  !

I took inspiration from MANY Bond movies and games that I love throughout the movie. For some of the huge Bond nerds out there like me , you may have spotted a few, here they are!

James Bond himself was mainly inspired by Pierce Brosnan's look in GoldenEye (1995).

The whole setting and lore was mainly inspired by the Tomorrow Never Dies Pre title sequence in which 007 (Pierce Brosnan) escaped a Bazaar in a jet carrying nuclear weapons.

The supercars at the bazaar were lined up with the same models and colours as the ones in the North Korean DMZ in the Die Another Day Pre title Sequence. Even the Porsche being destroyed was based on this scene.

The Snowmobile Chase Sequence & Helicopter scene at the end was inspired by the "Alpine Escape" mission in my favourite Bond game of all time. 007 NightFire (PS2 2002)

The final jump with the parachute on Bond at the cliff was inspired by Roger Moore's Bond skiing off the cliff in "The Spy Who Loved Me" Sadly I couldn't get the Union Jack Parachute to work!
