Bennett and I fly to El Paso, Texas so we can climb Guadalupe Peak, the tallest mountain in Texas. Located in the Guadalupe Mountains National Park, Guadalupe Peak rises 8,750 feet above sea level. This ends up being the perfect chance for us to climb a non snow capped peak during the winter season.
Once we get to the top, we decide to add a little bonus hike, and go out to the tip of El Capitan (Texas edition.) We end up looking over huge cliffs and enjoy sweeping views on a second peak. Rising 8,085 feet above sea level, El Capitan is the 10th tallest peak in Texas.
