Join us for Part 1 of our Ostsee family vacation as we explore the beautiful Baltic Sea coast of Germany – from Bad Doberan to the seaside charm of Kühlungsborn. Perfect for Germany travel lovers, family trip ideas, and Baltic Sea holidays.

Our journey starts in Bad Doberan, a windy and rainy morning by the water – perfect for Papa’s happy stone collecting ritual. We visit the iconic Doberaner Münster (even though it’s closed, the Gothic architecture is worth seeing!) and cruise through charming streets, spotting an old Trabant (Trabi) for a touch of East German nostalgia.

Back at our stylish Airbnb loft in Bad Doberan, Shubham gives you a cozy tour while Soni whips up a home-cooked dinner.

Day two begins with peaceful morning views, followed by a ride on the famous Molli Steam Train (Molly Bahn) – a historic narrow-gauge railway – to Kühlungsborn. We stroll the promenade, enjoy seaside sunshine, and hunt for the perfect Fischbrötchen.
