You've found the best (and so far only) place for authentic orchestral accompaniments (»minus« singing) to\an increasing repertoire of works for voice and orchestra. After doing the entirety of Gustav Mahler‘s works I‘m now devoting to others. »Zueignung« is one the Strauss Lieder which must not be missing in my repertoire, even if I'm not yet sure to work on the entirety of all of Strauss' songs. Before completing Strauss‘ »Vier letzte Lieder« (Four last songs) I did the 6 Maeterlinck songs op. 13 by Zemlinsky and Berlioz‘ »Les nuits d‘été« summer nights). One of the next things to do will be completing Wagner‘s »Wesendoncklieder«.
I shouldn‘t forget to mention Brahms‘ »Alto rhapsody« which I did to get familiar with virtual men‘s choirs providing the so called »word builder«: a software feature allowing to let virtual voices sing real lyrics. The sampled instruments are from the Vienna Symphonic Library®.
It is important to note that these are NOT MIDI files! I spend long time making them sound exactly like real orchestral recordings, with careful attention to details on the score, including all sorts of playing techniques and nuances of expression, dynamics and tempo...
Customized keys, or versions with metronome clicks to assist with learning, are available on request as well. The accompaniments can be used for rehearsal, but are of sufficiently high quality to also be suitable for performances.
