Trolls Vs Trolled SIZZLE Reel

This video is intended to give the viewer a good idea of how our show functions, and how much fun it is to be a part of in any of the various capacities!

The bi-monthly live show lasts about an hour and a half, with an additional half hour performed at the beginning by the app liason while she gathers the online audience and explains the show format. She is seated front and center at stage level on a fancy chair to provide the online audience with the perfect view of the comedians. Ideally the studio audience would have a short aisle directly behind her so she is not blocking anyone's view. She needs a desk in front of her with the mount for the app device, and some efficient way to tally votes (paper and pen is fine).

After the live show has ended, the episode can then be edited easily into highlights, fitting nicely into either the 22 or 42 minute network time slots for broadcast, although it would be best suited for the 22 minute show format to maintain its fast pacing and general chaos.

The Host opens the show for the studio and television audience by charmingly explaining the format, and introduces each comedian. Everyone likes him immediately, and his high energy and positivity is perfect to set off the explosion that is this show. He is a comforting presence for the comics while they are heckled, keeping them from getting defensive or feeling alone up there while the hecklers do their thing. He congratulates strong hecklers and backs up the comebacks from the comedian side, he's a neutral party in the war. He has a talent of saving things on his feet and keeping it funny if anyone takes a turn towards being angry or getting their feelings hurt. He keeps everyone laughing.

Six comedians perform 5 minutes each, before being heckled by the best comments in the chat via the discerning liason, who quickly delivers each qualifying roast hilariously to do justice for the hecklers who wrote it. The show ends when the online hecklers vote for their favorite comic, who has now earned another spot on the show, and a mention in the credits for the remainder of the season; During the season finale, the top 6 favorited comedians compete for the title of season's best comedian. It would be ideal for the season's winning comedian to win a cash prize and an international tour (but right now they just get a little microphone trophy and a robot hat).

Each comedian's social media handle is on screen for the duration of their 5 minute set.
All hecklers are welcome on the app, but only the FUNNY roasts (not the MEAN ones) are read on the mic - the liason reinforces this Only Rule often!

The Host banters and tags the set after each comedian performs while the liason finds the beginning of the heckles for that comic. He will also bring all of the comics back up at the end of the show to introduce themselves so that the online audience can refresh their memory and vote for their favorite.

At the end of each episode, the comedians vote for the funniest heckle of the night, and that heckler is awarded in-app currency and an opportunity to promote their social media handle to the audience, and gets a mention in the credits for the remainder of the season. Perhaps they could win a trip to watch the show in person. The in-app currency can be used, theoretically, to purchase network and show merchandise, like autographs, coffee mugs, hats, bumper stickers, etc. if the network wishes to build its own app for this type of entertainment (intellectual property considered).

The studio audience is not to be left out! They get to vote on which team was funnier, the comedians or the hecklers. The host will help them choose a team, and he'll select a member of the audience at each performance to reveal the winning team, the trolls vs the trolled, spurring the rivalry for everyone to be funnier next season.

There is one more award that can be given out..... We've had a comedian or two who could NOT handle the good-humored heckling, and we have named this Butthurt Award after one in particular - the Bald Paul Award is given to any comic who simply has NO comebacks or tolerance for the roasting they are there to receive. These folks are presented gloriously with a small trophy in the shape of a horse's ass.

There is a running gag that the App Liason is always eating and surrounded by munchies, which is a ready formula for sponsorships and product placement. For example, the app hecklers already hail her as an unofficial Yoo-Hoo spokesmodel for her effective and inadvertent sales of the product through making it look sooo damn good and reminding everyone of how much they love it.

This sounds complicated, but we've worked out the kinks and it's a riotously good time with sick burns and comeradery that will be long remembered! It's the ONLY live-streaming interactive comedy show in the world!
