Hey Y'all
Well, it's the final round of C.C. Miller splitting for me (for this year). Feel free to continue on if you have plenty of boxes.
We did 14 total splits using this method, in around 36 days.
Round 1 was Day 1, so if we did 5 Rounds ( you don't really count the 1st round), at 9 day intervals, it's 36 total days. Not a bad haul if you ask me.
The bees have finally started to settle down after putting plenty of feed on them and this 5th round was a BEAUTY! It was a picture perfect example of how this method can work.
