In this video, I quickly walk you through the timeline from offer acceptance to the moment your receive your keys to your new home! These are the 10 steps every buyer will go through on their way to home ownership once an offer has been accepted:
1. Executed contract presented to all parties.
2. Open escrow/make your earnest money deposit at the title agency.
3. Schedule your home inspection and termite inspection.
4. Prepare and negotiate the list of repairs
5. Order appraisal (usually done by your lender).
6. Review appraisal results to ensure home is worth the purchase price.
7. Transfer utilities in your name.
8. Final walkthrough.
9. The signing at the title company or other.
10. THE CLOSING - receive your keys to your new home.
