Amtrak FINALLY Returns to the Gulf Coast - 20 Years After Katrina

Amtrak's new Mardi Gras Service is NOW OPEN and Chris got a chance to ride on it's first train last week. Connecting New Orleans to Mobile, no passenger rail has run on this route since Hurricane Katrina which halted the Sunset Limited after major infrastructure issues.

Chris went station to station along the route sharing the history, and giving a first hand look at what this new service is like! Along the way he also ran into some other great Transit YouTubers who are linked down below. They also made videos about the launch that you should check out!
