We visited Tim Hortons for the first time to see what the hype was about… and left stunned. Known as a Canadian staple for coffee, cakes, and comfort food, Tim Hortons was once the heart of family dining across Canada. But after being taken over by Burger King’s parent company, the menu expanded into burgers, loaded fries, toasties, and hot food, and that’s where things took a turn.

We ordered the cheeseburger with bacon (which smelled off from the first unwrap), a portion of loaded fries, and their new ham hock toasty. Let’s just say… expectations were crushed.

But there’s a twist, the doughnuts were unreal, and the coffee was spot on. Can a brand survive on its sweets and caffeine alone?
