This video shows the problem with the Gutter Helmet product that covers a gutter. The theory of operation is surely sound, however in reality there is a semiannual or annual maintain that needs to happen and that reduces the "maintenance free" feature of the product. Since the Helmet needs to be maintained one or two times a year, the effort is much like having to clean out the gutters! As a handyman who deals with a lot of different products, I think that there are better solutions on the market. For instance, Gutter Brush is a product that performs well and is ZERO maintenance!
