What does it take to be a Correctional Officer? This is a very hard question to answer. To work in corrections, you have to know who you are, know your vulnerabilities, have pride in what you do, be committed to protect and serve, and have the right motivation. Corrections is a great profession, but only a few can walk the walk. Be proud to be part of the selected few.
