Adrian Smith Blues Band 2008 - Crossroads Take 1

Recorded in London in April 2008. This was a rehearsal and recorded by myself with the help of a fellow good friend and engineer Tony Forman. The recording was to both analogue and digital multitrack.
The analogue multitrack was a Studer A820 and the digital copy was Pro Tools utilising the digidesign 24/8 Mix plus system.
We played for less than two hours as the session took considerable time to set-up and break down. This was essentially a test to see what could be achieved. Alas we only recorded once again, a year later. The emphasis for this session was to see how the recording would go.
I organised the entire session with regards to location, setting up and recording studio requirements.
The video captured was an afterthought and hence a single S-VHS camera was positioned to capture the performance for prosperity.
I hope you enjoy this recording. Please note this is exactly was what was performed. there are no overdubs or audio editing of multiple takes.
