La cigale et la fourmie (the Grasshopper and the Ant) by Antal Dorati from Five piece for the Oboe. Each week I've been posting some impromptu performances of solo music for my students to hear. The COVID19 situation is currently keeping me apart from my students, so I hope this low-tech effort will keep you inspired to play, and learn some new music. It's been more challenging to record at home (the Blair School of Music where I teach has been shut), BUT the acoustic in the living room is much nicer than my office! I recorded this while practicing yesterday and dedicate this to my students.
