16 cups hot tap water + 1 tsp (5 mL) dye
[5:11] Dip dyeing the yarn
no acid yet
leave the yarn in the dyebath (1/3 of the yarn) for 10 min
[7:12] Expectations
[9:13] After 10 min - add more dye
but no acid yet
10 mL dye
[13:58] After 20 more minutes, adding acid
1/4 cup (60 mL, 4 T white vinegar)
Immediately bring yarn to steamer basket
[14:45] Yarn mop!
[16:43] The steamer basket
steam for 30 min
[18:19] Removing the yarn mop
