I blame MTV’s Laguna Beach, or maybe The OC. Does it go as far back as Beverly Hills 90210?! Or maybe it’s the more recent Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Needless to say, I have had California on my mind for quite some time. And to finally get to LA and Orange County and see these sights that I have watched on TV hundreds of times made me feel kind of giddy, excited in a way that I haven’t been since I first went to London or Tokyo or Sydney. My short week in Southern California has wetted the appetite and considering its only a 2 hour flight from Seattle (and I only paid $12 for the flight thanks to Delta miles), I think I will be back again to explore more very soon.
