In this vlog, we start early from Thimphu and drive to Paro, where we begin our hike to one of Bhutan’s most iconic and spiritual landmarks. Along the way, I’ll share the fascinating legend of Guru Rinpoche (Padmasambhava)—the great saint who brought Vajrayana Buddhism to Bhutan.
From trekking through peaceful pine forests to standing in awe at the monastery perched high on the cliffside, every moment of this journey is filled with beauty, history, and deep spiritual energy.
Inside the monastery, we explore the sacred meditation cave where Guru Rinpoche meditated for years, along with the serene atmosphere of monks chanting and butter lamps glowing.
Being here on such a sacred day made this experience even more meaningful—and I’m so happy to share it with you all! 🙏✨
