Game 1 was a disaster. I stopped guarding pawns because I thought they didn’t matter… and it snowballed fast. One slip, one missed defender, and suddenly my queen was gone. He was about to flag — but somehow mated me with three seconds left.
Game 2 flipped everything. I’m playing Black, nearly get my queen trapped, find a tactical shot to win his bishop, and somehow hold it together long enough to win on time. Blunders everywhere, but a win is a win… and it pushes me to 954.
