This session from University of Waterloo’s Open Education Week 2023 presented by Gillian Dabrowski (Online Learning Consultant, Centre for Extended Learning) and Mark Morton (Senior Educational Developer, Centre for Teaching Excellence) explores what extended reality (XR) is and how it can benefit learning, offers use-case examples of XR-OER (Extended Reality- Open Education Resources) apps in a range of disciplines, and provides an overview of how to create XR content and experiences with various tools and platforms, touching on emerging 3D AI opportunities for creating content.
