Angel, Amala alumna and businesswoman in Kalobeyei Settlement, Kenya, took part in Amala's Women's Entrepreneurship and Leadership Programme, run with partner Kalobeyei Initiative for Better Life (Ki4Bli). With seed funding from the programme, she is running her own hair salon, training others in the community and earning a living.
From 2 - 9 December 2025, Amala is taking part in the Big Give Christmas Challenge, raising money to enable more women like Angel to access education which builds hopeful futures.
