A Final Ride On The Montgomery Elevators and Escalators at Macy's DOCO In Sacramento, CA

[Recorded Today] I have worked at this Macy's for nearly 6 years and I grew up coming to this store. On March 23rd, this store shut its doors for good. All employees stayed for one more week to clean up and prep the building for permanent closure. Today it is the official last day for all of us, and everyone including myself is devastated. It has all come to an end.

Throughout my years in this store, I have met some amazing people that I am so thankful for...ones that I can call my true friends, not just my coworkers. It is them that I will miss the most about working here. I really enjoyed my time here. Keeping the third floor clean as can be and putting in countless hours of effort to keep it perfect is all I've ever known. I'm REALLY going to miss coming here almost every day, seeing my friends, riding these elevators, and just spending time here. Rest in peace, Macy's DOCO...you were so good to me.
