We are reminded that in the midst of the world's deepest darkness, Christ’s light of hope still shines, because He himself is Light, He himself is Hope, and hope does ‘not disappoint’ us.
The story of Christmas is not just a tale of a baby born in a manger—it is the proclamation of God’s unshakable promise to be with us, no matter how heavy the hand of aggressions/war/violence and ills of every sort weigh on our world this very moment. In the midst of the darkness of fear, conflict, and despair, Jesus Christ brings peace, joy, love, and salvation to all who open their hearts to Him.
The “Echoes of Hope”, by the Pauline Sisters, stir up our soul and remind us of the truth that, CHRIST IS THE HOPE THAT NEVER FAILS. And because of Him, we can face every challenge with hearts full of joyful hope.
Let us all go forth as heralds of HOPE to a world that so desperately needs to hear this good news. Let us proclaim it not only in the by-lanes and homes and pulpits of our churches, but also across social media platforms and the vast web spaces where humanity gathers today.
