#7 of The Build Series at Astill Design is the 1976 XB GT Falcon Coupe Coolmint.
The coupe was finished for Summernats 26 and competed in Elite Coupe class.
The coupe was awared a place in the Top 60 and 3rd Top coupe.
This car was built front scratch at Astill Design - Howard Astill
This was a full body restoration with extensive rust repairs and accident damage.

CHI 225 Bullit cnc heads. CHI 3V manifold, Solid roller cam, 950 Hard core carby
Gear box; Mal Wood Tremic T56 6 speed manual kit from flywheel to Yoke.
Clutch twin plate soft centre
Electrics; Car was wired by the owner Rods Auto electrics
MSD distributor, coil, leads and 6AL 2 computer
Exhaust: Pacemaker 1 7/8 extractors ceramic coated
409 stainless 3” mandrel bent twin system with H pipe with 4 Diphillipo stainless straight through mufflers. Tip are modified original GT tips.

Diff; stock housing with strange true trac centre 31 spline 3.9 ratio
Suspension; front RRS strut front with 2 spot callipers 295 rotor

RRS power rack and pinion steering, mouting hardware and tank by Astill Design
