Jozini Dam- Lure Fishing for Tigers

This was one crazy comedy between TheCrow and VeerMan, it's always mayhem when these two are out fishing together.

We planned a trip to meet each other at Jozini Dam last week for a fun-filled and wild adventure. Our plan was to experiment with different lures, topwater and soft plastics to see how the tigers would react to them and bite.
Getting the bite is one thing, getting the Tiger to stick is another. After several failed hits and a very noisy/frustrated Veer, we managed to establish a pattern with weightless flukes/SD3 jerk baits and got several to stick.
Targetting Tigers on lures can be both frustrating and exhilarating at the same time. As the saying goes "Once you hook a tiger on a lure, you'll never fish bait again"

Fishing at Jozini is always a thrill for the entire family, besides the ferocious tigers we get to experience wildlife at its best whilst bank bashing, on this trip we came across buck, impala, kudu, giraffes, hippos, and warthogs.
