How to make Armenian Pilaf...One Handed!

All right, for those of you who would rather have a written out recipe, here goes:
You will need:
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup broken coil vermicelli noodles
1 cup long grain rice
1 can chicken broth
Directions:
Brown vermicelli in butter over medium heat until slightly browned. DO NOT SCORCH. Keep stirring until vermicelli starts changing color and then proceed to add rice and chicken broth. Stir and bring the whole pot to a slight boil. (You may need to turn the heat up, in fact yeah. Turn the heat up) Once the light boil has been reached, place the pot lid over the concoction and reduce heat down to simmer. DO NOT OPEN the lid once you have started this step (Great Gram Nalchajian was very explicit about this instruction). Let simmer for 20 minutes, after which you can remove from heat, stir to fluff and serve hot.
