The Santanoni Range | Panther - Couchsachraga - Santanoni | Adirondack Mountains

This was Day two of our vacation. The seward range was day one! We slept good last night and started this hike at 8 AM. It was a beautiful trail up along the brook till you got to time square where at this point you make a decision on what to do first! We chose Panther and let me tell you.... Mud City! But me and Brittany wear Vibram 5 finger toe shoes for days like this so we can just splash through the mud and have fun! Panther has beautiful views! Next we hit up the Couch.. It was a long and mild dissent to the cole with the Infamous Mud Bog. If you Choose to go over the center like we did you will get wet! If you step off the logs or debri that hold you up from sinking you will go Balls/Clam deep.. trust me we tried! If you follow me on IG send me a message and ill show you Brittany Clam deep in mud! Brian_Hikes_All_Day! Heading up to Couch from this point is a breeze where we met 2 IG friends that we never met! I love when that happens! Passionate good hearted People! Anyhow we got back to time square where we made a right next to a huge boulder and then another boulder at a scenic overlook.. Thats where the Trail to Santanoni Starts! Not a bad trail and mild dissent/assent up to the peak of Santaoni! There is a scenic overlook before the summit witch you should check out! We took Santanoni Express Trail down and out! This Trail was fantastic and beautiful but in the top 10 steepest trails IMO. very very steep! This was High peaks #38,39,40!
