In this episode, we motor our sailboat through the Intracoastal Waterway from Oriental, NC to Carolina Beach. Along the way, we anchor at Spooner’s Creek and Mile Hammock Bay before reaching the Carolina Beach mooring field.
We spotted dolphins, a surprising variety of new birds, and battled some unexpectedly cold weather and managed to run into our first shoal.
