How to Communicate When You Don't Speak the Language
My Spanish is trash, but turns out inline skating is a universal language and I actually don’t need to be fluent at Spanish for that. Although my friends do try to help me get better they probably wouldn’t care if I did or not at the end of the day.
Last night during our skate I pretty much realized that street skating connects people way deeper than any conversation ever could and that’s what motivated me to do this video for real.
Through hand signs, shared laughs, flying downhill, and wheels lit up under city lights, we found a way to understand each other without saying much at all.
