As well as serving as an update to the year's template, this series will also serve as the ultimate guide to playing and building in my style as we hopefully head towards the end of the life cycle of Cities 1...This series will continue as episodes. Today we are looking at one of the more awkward types of builds, a hillside suburb. These very much fall under the umbrella of builds that can turn ugly very quickly if you don't look after them. Looking at road networks and layouts, zoning techniques, a focal point alongside parks and public transit, we can make nice use of the more unfriendly landscape in our maps. Enjoy.
