Mark Zuckerberg is just one of a handful of wealthy people who decided to go all-in on Donald Trump, with Zuckerberg even showing up as a special guest to Trump’s 2nd inauguration. But all the money that Zuck spent cozying up to Trump was apparently in vain, as a new report says that Trump is refusing to bail Zuckerberg out of the massive antitrust lawsuit that he’s facing from the Federal Trace Commission. Loyalty only works one way for Trump, as Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins explains.

When all of the billionaires, including the three richest men on the planet, mark, uh, uh, mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos, and at the top Elon Musk, when they all started bowing down to Donald Trump after the 2024 election, some of them before that, I talked about the fact that, you know, Musk doing it. Eh, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Bezo doing it. Yeah, he is got government contracts. I can see where all that is, even though Musk has government tr contracts, but those aren't going anywhere. Um, but Zuckerberg, I said, has the most pressing reason to be kissing up to Donald Trump. I had been saying it for months, and it's this, this month, a little bit later this month, which we don't have much left of. Mark Zuckerberg and his Meta corporation are facing a $30 billion antitrust lawsuit from the Federal Trade Commission, the FTC and Zuckerberg wanted that lawsuit to go away.
So what did he do? He settled the lawsuit that Donald Trump had filed against Meta for blocking him on Facebook. He said, okay, here's millions of dollars. We'll give it to your presidential library funds so you can go open it in a trailer park. Um, he donated money to Trump's inauguration, a million dollars. He was buddy buddy with him. He's met with him in the White House, all because Mark Zuckerberg was hoping and praying that Donald Trump would get rid of this antitrust lawsuit that he was facing. And I am pleased to report that Mark Zuckerberg's big gamble on Donald Trump paid off nothing. In fact, after meeting with Donald Trump recently in the White House, he refused to drop the FTC lawsuit and refused the pathetic settlement amount that Zuckerberg and Meta had presented to the federal government. Now, Trump initially, according to the reports in the Wall Street Journal, had seemed open to accepting Zuckerberg's, very pathetic little offering while still being allowed to keep WhatsApp and Instagram along with Facebook. So he does have the monopoly there. Um, and his offering was 450 million. Now, the government wants 30 billion. He offered 450 million. Trump was willing to take it, it seems, but AIDS and advisors inside the White House apparently got to Trump according to the report and said, listen, you can't do that. You know, this is actually something you need to stay out of. Let it go to trial and let the chips fall where they may. And that is exactly what the administration decided to do. We're not gonna interfere. We're not gonna take your 450 million, go back to court
And face your $30 billion lawsuit. Now, the federal government, the FTCI will say, has suggested that, listen, maybe we'll, we'd settle for 18 billion. Zuckerberg doesn't seem to want to come up to that, even though he could easily afford it. So he will be going to trial. But here's the lesson that Mark Zuckerberg like so many other before him, is learning right now. Loyalty with Donald Trump literally goes one way. You have to be loyal to him. He will do nothing in return for you. Don't believe me. You can go ask Mark Zuckerberg himself. If you can't reach Zuckerberg, maybe you should reach out to Sidney Powell, or perhaps Rudy Giuliani, or perhaps Jenna Ellis, or perhaps Kenneth Chesbro, or perhaps John Eastman, or perhaps any of the other people who showed nothing but loyalty and devotion to Donald Trump, only to be left out to dry when they needed his help. Zuckerberg is no different, and he had to learn that the hard way.
