Well it's coming to the end of May now and it's still cold, but as the saying goes
'Never cast a clout till May is out'
Even though it was a cold day I soon warmed up after preparing the bed where the sweetcorn while be planted out.
I also try an experiment using a 30 litre pot filled with soil from the fire pit and pigeon manire compost to plant a couple of Kestrel seed potatoes in. Let's see what happens with that.
