The 2025 Beautifully Flawed Retreat Recap Video

“I felt like I belonged.” Twenty-six young women arrived in Del Mar, and none left the same. What began as a group of strangers quickly became a sisterhood. They laughed together, they cried together, and they opened their hearts in ways only true understanding makes possible.

There’s a deep rest — an exhale of the soul — that comes from being truly seen, and these girls found that in one another. They found family in women who intimately understand limb loss and limb difference — the quiet battles, the daily adjustments, the pain, the perseverance and strength it takes to navigate life as amputees and with limb differences. Together, they found a place where they were fully known, fully accepted, and fully loved.

And in the midst of it all, they experienced something even greater: the unwavering love of the God who created them with intention and beauty, whose love for them knows no limits.

They left this retreat renewed, hopeful again, courage stirred. They left reminded that their stories do not end in ashes, but rather God is the One who takes those very ashes and transforms them into something beautiful.

They left knowing they are beautiful, cherished, and loved.
They left knowing, deep in their core, that they belong.
