It was a very interesting INSPIRING CONVERSATIONS with Mr. Dhananjay Mahadik. It was the 23rd session of INSPIRING CONVERSATIONS held on 16th jan 2017.
In 1995 he lost his father, who left behind a few debts , agricultural land a one Petrol pump. From there onwards, with pure grit and determination, he has today built a business empire. It spans from agriculture to Petrol pumps to entertainment and cable connectivity to more than 15 lakh households to schools and engineering and MBA colleges to sugar cooperatives, milk cooperatives and many more business enterprises.

Being a national wrestler and a boxer, his zeal to play and win had become his habit.

After losing the MP elections , he got more motivated to win again and win he did in the next elections and is today a successful member of parliament and has been voted as the second best parliamentarian in the country on various parameters.

His methods of doing business was always different and that became his mantra for success.

With one single Petrol pump, he did aggressive marketing and could attract lots of heavy vehicles to his pump , thereby multiplying business. He would offer clean toilet facilities to drivers, resting place etc. Within 100 KM , any accident case used to be supported and assisted by him and his team . This gained him a lot of popularity and also growth in business. He became one of the top ten best Petrol pumps in india.

At a young age he realised that any business needs leadership and any business is possible by delegating it to the right people for performance and growth.

Making all businesses accountable to him and making sure that he begins the day with taking stock of all his enterprises , has always helped him to be in control of all the activities.

His business life helped him a lot in his political career rather than being the other side around.

He ensured that his three sons are getting the best international exposure in studies so that they too become successful entrepreneurs , probably more successful than what he is.
