15 last-minute unique and thoughtful eco-friendly gift ideas!

As the holidays are right around the corner, I wanted to share 15 last-minute, eco-friendly and sustainable gift ideas. These sustainable gifts could be used for Christmas or any other time of the year: birthdays, anniversaries, or just because! Most of these items are products I use on a daily basis and have been using for a long time.

The best way to shop sustainably is to shop second-hand. When you can, try to thrift by searching on Facebook Marketplace or purchasing from resale websites like Better World Books, ThredUp, Patagonia WornWear. If you can't shop thrifted, the products I'm sharing are either meant to have a long lifespan and/or made more ethically or locally.

More about B Corps: The ‘B’ stands for “benefit for all.” Companies become certified after passing an assessment test through B Lab, a nonprofit working to transform the global economy to benefit all people, communities, and the planet.

Today, there are over 6000 Certified B Corporations in over 80 countries and 150 industries. When I can’t buy something secondhand, I try to support B Corps whenever possible! By having the B Corp Certification, I trust they’re being held to higher standards within their industry with everything from employee benefits to supply chain practices.
