Hi the tragic abandonment of the Edinburgh to Hawick line opened in 1849 then further to England Carlisle in 1862, built with blood sweat and tears. Join the pups and I as we trace a small section (2 miles) from Burnfoot Hawick to Knowetownhead, what a spectacular line this must have been carving through the beautiful Scottish Countryside.
