Something a little different, modern Gilera Runner 180 SPR NO.001

This scooter is built from the ground up using many quality parts as well as custom made components by B.T. motori and other brands.

We wanted a unique bike which would stand out from the crowd with good engine performance.

Suspension, Brakes and other components :

PM monster forks modified

WP 320mm rear shock modified

Front brake 17.5 radial brake pump, braided hose, 320mm floating brake disc,and 4piston brake caliper all modified to fit with B.T. adapters.

Rear brake 17.5 radial brake pump, braided hose, 240mm Braking disc and 4 piston radial Ottopuntouno caliper with B.T. brake reinforcement.

Handlebar is orginal but it is a little modified and lowered by 1cm, plastic is modified to fit radial brake pumps.

Chassis is also modified and has welded engine holder with silent block from orginal SP 180. After that, we sandblasted everything and powder coated in black color.

Electric wiring is completly new. Front led headlight is custom made by B.T. with Devil eyes and projector lenses. Tail light and turn signals are also led, tachometer is from 50cc with SP logo inside. We paid a lot of attention to details.

Before painting we had to modify so many things to fit everything perfect. We also put some carbon parts: ignition cover, rear mudgard, intake on transmission cover and nut cover.
We also have few more modifications, such as custom seat with a combination of alcantara and black leather, the area under the seat has been reworked and covered in black alcantara. Another important detail is the lock with the key from the first model. The cover around the reservoir cap is specially designed for this project and shows that the scooter is limited edition number 001.

Complete scooter is painted in original color to match the old and first model Gilera Runner 180 SP Rosso fluo color. Stickers were made to make the scooter as similar as possible to the original first Runner 180SP.

We wanted to combine the old best two-stroke Gilera Runner 180 SP ever with the new one. Simply create something more modern, but with an old two stroke heart ❤️
