It looks like Willy Checca/Pill Wrecca/Will Mecca has delivered yet again. For the uninitiated, Will’s a guy who records a bunch of sets with old video cameras, and either uploads them to his Youtube channel (   / ridethesky1986  , or saves them for his VHS documentary series, “Paranoid Anxieties” (http://thelefthandpath.storenvy.com/p.... He also periodically tends to his blog, “All Dawgs Go To War”—emphasis on “periodically”, there’s only been nine or so updates posted there since the turn of 2015—which is where this tape rip originated from (http://errydawghashisday.blogspot.com.... As per usual, thank him—not me—for allowing this audio cassette tape to surface on the world-wide-web, as I’m nothing more than an over-glorified messenger boy who’s got an unfortunately-sized following. Seriously, why do you guys even humor me?

But forget about the nerdy punk blog that this rip came from, the tape is the real star of the show here. Now, based off of the title of the video alone, I’m sure that you were able to assume that this tape is a product of Martin Meyer; the very same “Marty” that’s behind St. Louis’ Lumpy & The Dumpers, who also runs the eponymously-named label, Lumpy Records. Hence the “Lumpy Presents” part. Yeah, yeah, it’s a hammy title, I know, but I figured that little tidbit is necessary so the tape is easily-discernable from everything else that comes up in Youtube’s search results when you look up “Marty’s World”. Surprisingly, there’s a lot of “Marty’s World”related suggestions (with my personal favorite find being this identically-named nine-year-old channel that only has a single video, simply labeled as “email test”. The only other things to be found on this channel are two playlists, “favorites” and “test”, both consisting of his own video, and separate one that’s simply called “sexy”, which is composed of super-low-quality footage of close-zooms on a girl’s cleavage and feet. That video is funny in particular, because I guess there was a bunch of commenters objectifying the girl being recorded—who I assume to be the camerawoman’s friend—and the uploader is just leaving shit-talking comments in her defense: “your fucking annoying”, “go die”, “fucker shes my best friend”, so on and so forth. I don’t know why exactly, but the entire thing just fucking slays me:    • email test  ).

But if you’re here, that probably means that you’ve managed to wade through the digital cesspool that is Youtube to find this equally-repulsive compilation tape. This baby’s rather self-explanatory: it’s a collection of eight different projects that Martin (Marty) Meyer, A.K.A. “Lumpy”, is involved in, including his previously-known efforts, like Lumpy & The Dumpers, Cal & The Calories, and Lars, and brand-new material, such as BB Eye and Timmy T. These tapes were supposedly being sold at shows; or so I’d assume, as I first heard about this tape in an email exactly two weeks backs, when a guy told me that he met “Cal” (Lumpy’s ten-year-old alter-ego) and Mark Winter at some show hosted in a “dingy shed”. He told me that he picked up some new tapes off of Marty, including this compilation tape, with the only thing he specifically mentioned about it being a “new Coneheads track... featuring Cal”. He said that he’d send a rip/tapes over to me, but unfortunately, that hasn’t happened yet. Shit happens, it’s all good. Besides, it’s totally fine, because Pill Wrecca’s got ya covered; the rip itself may not be perfect, but I’ve at gone and tweaked it a bit so it wasn’t so muddled. And since some people actually give a shit about my opinions, here’s my thoughts on each track, in the order that they appear on the tape:
