Описание:
1:24 scale model of an early 19th century sloop. A scratch built wooden plank on frame model.
Although I used the CLIO lines from David R MacGregor's Merchant Sailing Ships: Sovereignty of Sail 1775-1818, I put a lot of Irish hooker into her as well. She is internally ballasted.
The vessel is meant to haul cargo and has a deep hull with a flat bottom. She was built to be a Prize for my Privateer schooner in the same scale. One day I'll have a video of a capture.
An improvement would be to make the topmast quickly detachable for transport.
