Our fife group is proud to present a live performance of James Hook's Trio No. 1, op. 83, performed here with two fifes doubling the first part.
Originally composed for flutes, this piece was published as part of a book of six trios in 1797. The work is divided into three movements: Allegro, Andantino, and Rondo. Imagine yourself at an evening soiree, and feel free to dance a gigue to the final movement!
