Magical Dragon.. Psychedelic Cabbage.. Lion Profile? circular straight pour technique..

I'm not really sure about this one. I was using up my leftover paints that had thickened quite a bit. I layered 3 4 oz cups with the colours that are listed in the video. I did a circular straight pour and was absolutely amazed at the amount of detail and patterning that appeared.
All paints were mixed only with floetrol and the little bit of water when necessary. The flow extender was diluted a touch with water.


this was a fun little experiment. What I learned is that my copper and most of the gold completely disappeared.
My paints were thick enough to hold a pattern and barely thin enough to stretch completely across the canvas.

It is an interesting result.. Pretty in its own right..

Following the video of the Dragon is another painting I did prior using the same colours. You can see how differently the paint stretches when the consistency is a bit thinner.
