Am Beispiel vom Flügelsegel Oxley Levante zeigen wir Euch eine Möglichkeit der Schotführung. Wir mussten keine Umbauten am Boot oder ähnliches durchführen. Diese Segel sind genial, denn es gibt sehr viele Möglichkeiten der Segelführung. Hier wird das Segel an Backbord gesegelt. Wir segeln es nicht vor dem Vorsegel, sondern über ein festes Auge im Vorschiff. Hier laufen die Tacks über zwei Rollen. Die Backbordschot und die Steuerbordschot wird über eine Umlenkrolle achtern zur Winsch geführt.
Es empflielt sich für das leichte Segel auch leichte Leinen / Schoten zu führen, dann entwickelt sich das Segel bereits bei 1 Knoten Wind.

Using the Oxley Levante wing sail as an example, we will show you one way of guiding the sheet. We didn't have to make any modifications to the boat or anything like that. These sails are awesome because there are so many ways to guide the sails. Here the sail is put to port. We don't sail it in front of the foresail, but over a fixed eye in the foredeck. Here the tacks run over two rollers. The port sheet and the starboard sheet are guided to the winch via a pulley aft.
It is recommended to use light lines / sheets for the light sail, then the sail will develop at 1 knot of wind.
