In this video, I take on the 19-mile stretch of Kelso Valley Road, a classic dirt route in California that offers a mix of ruts, moderate sand (up to 4–5 inches), and wide-open views. It’s the kind of road that keeps your attention but rewards every mile.
If you're an advanced rider, this road is a breeze. But for intermediate ADV riders like me? It’s the perfect challenge—engaging, a bit technical in spots, but never overwhelming. I ride it on my BMW 1250 GSA and share my real-time thoughts, the terrain features, and what you should expect if you ride it.
