How to repair your brick stairs😎👍👀

In this video we repair a deteriorated brick stairs with matching bricks and new limestone treads. We also install new aluminum railing system. We start by removing the damage and getting to a solid and undamaged spot. We clean the work area free of debris. We build the matching bricks maintaining required brick height using mason mortar mix. Start building the steps from the bottom and work our way to the top. We reverse the process to lay the stair treads from top to bottom. Check for level and allow a slight deviation to keep water away from steps. As mortar starts to set, we clean the brick joints to match existing. We then set the railings in place and wash the stairs after a few days of curing. To wash, we use a mixture of Muriatic Acid and water to remove excess mortar and haze. Thanks for watching and please subscribe and comment.
