Self confessed Mungiki leader Maina Njenga thought he was headed for another confrontation with the state for the murder charges he was facing, only to learn that the Attorney General had terminated the murder charges against him. We headline our news bulletin with these two stories and we begin from Nyeri where after being freed, Njenga travelled all the way to Nairobi to announce that he was a born again man after accepting Jesus as his personal savior. He also promised to lead his followers to church. Francis Gachuri was on Njenga's footsteps and filed the following report.
