AJS-37 Viggen Familiarization & Start-Up Tutorial | DCS | 2022

Over two years in the making we begin the first of our several part tutorial series on how to fly the Viggen. In this Zero to Hero tutorial series you'll be taught how to fly the Viggen intuitively, so rather than throw everything and the kitchen sink at you to learn how to do anything; in this tutorial series we will cover relevant information you need when you need it.

*Please note this series is a Work In Progress. We are rushing to get the first three chapters released as these are not covered in our original 2018 Leadnap Gaming Viggen Tutorials, however please keep in mind this series will take a while to be fully released. The previous tutorials are still available and will work in the interim.*

In this tutorial we'll cover cockpit familiarization - the location of critical instruments and controls you'll need to fly the Viggen. Following that we being our first lesson: cold start. With almost 5 years of DCS Viggen experience Lead has broken down the start into both a scramble (quick) start that works for you 99% of situations, as well as a full long start with checks to various systems: helpful if you're playing with (random) system failures.
