Rashard Lewis is a retired NBA forward known for his scoring ability, three-point shooting, and versatility. He began his professional career straight out of high school, selected 32nd overall by the Seattle SuperSonics in the 1998 NBA Draft. Despite a modest rookie season, Lewis developed into a key player for Seattle, averaging 16.6 points and 5.8 rebounds per game over nine seasons. His perimeter shooting, particularly from beyond the arc, became a hallmark of his game.
Over his 16-year NBA career, Lewis amassed 15,579 points, 5,433 rebounds, and 1,115 steals. He was a two-time NBA All-Star and is recognized as one of the early "stretch forwards" who helped popularize the role in modern basketball.
