Hey food lovers in this video made mabhanzi for the first time and I used my friends recipe which I will leave below I was happy with the result and they were so fluffy and delicious. In the original recipe she uses granulated sugar and whole milk and I substituted the sugar to caster and used buttermilk for extra fluffiness
RECIPE!
700g strong/ very strong flour 225g caster/granulated sugar
350ml buttermilk/ whole milk 4 teaspoons yeast for activation
1 & half eggs 75g butter
1tsp yeast for flour mixture
For glaze!
5 tablespoons water
5 tablespoons sugar
