Most of this came from the same dig over a 3 week period. There are lots more, too much to keep. If you are not familiar with Central Texas burn middens, they are typically Archaic era camps. They used large tools, and large points to hunt large animals. There apparently were plenty of flint and plenty of buffalo to support thousands of years of occupation. Surely periods of ups and downs but immense collections of bones, burnt rock, flint and arrowheads are still being found
