09.12.2018 USAF Weather Reconnaissance Squadron Pilots fly into the eye of Hurricane Florence.

This remarkable video (which includes GoPro camera cockpit footage) documents the flight of a United States Air Force HC-130J Hercules crew as they track and literally travel through the eye of the Category 4 storm—i.e. Hurricane Florence. This 'storm tasking' mission, carried out by 53rd Weather Reconnaissance Squadron, is intended to provide crucial/latest data for the National Hurricane Center as they formulate their forecasts.
