This is a piece I co-composed. I took two existing songs and put them together in a new melody using both themes. The two songs are Riviera Paradise by Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Chinatown Main Theme by Jerry Goldsmith. Both have a soft jazzy feel to it, and both have the remarkably similar chord progressions. I'll leave it to the listener to spot the similarities and the differences. I learned these melodies in just about every key imaginable. Recorded on February 4th, 2014. Credit goes to myself, and the late Jerry and Stevie.
