WHAT IS SOJU IN KOREA?

I've never experienced a more wild and energetic drinking culture than in South Korea. It's honestly hard to believe until you see it with your own eyes!

The most popular drink, by a long shot, is called SOJU and it comes it these green glass bottles, which you'll see in every restaurant/bar in Korea. Soju is a rice-based liquor and only half as strong as vodka, but don't let that fool you because it will make you very drunk. Last year, almost 4 billion bottles of soju were sold, making it the world's #1 selling liquor by volume.
